Green Grapes of Proserpine (GI Joe)

Halls of High Disgraces (GI Joe)
A long time ago, I used to write explicit GI Joe fanfic. A long time ago, as in, before the NC-17 purge of ff.net. I have a couple of fics that I'm putting up here because it occurs to me that they're not actually archived anywhere. TITLE: Halls of High Disgraces FANDOM: GI Joe LENGTH: 2,181 words RATING: FRAO for the het sex DISCLAIMER: There’s a lot in here that doesn’t belong to me. The characters and setting belong to Marvel and Hasbro, “Break Me” belongs to Jewel, and the poetry Flint quotes belongs to D.H. Lawrence and Walter Savage Landor. Everything else is me. FEEDBACK: Want it, need it, have to have it. Author’s Note: Thanks to Alison Faireborn for her contributions to the second stanza argument. A/N #2: The title comes from D.H. Lawrence’s “Tease,” which Flint quotes in the second stanza. He also quotes “‘Do You Remember Me?’” by Walter Savage Landor, and finally returns to Lawrence for “Epilogue.” Bartleby.com’s existence makes my life a better place. A world of morons... (Ratings system)
Apparently, the MPAA has decided that their ratings system is so super special that only people who meet with their approval get to use it, and people who write fanfic don't qualify as super-special enough. So some folks have put together the Fan-Rated Ratings System. This system makes sense to me (in ways that the MPAA's does *not;* I can't count the number of times I've sat staring at a fic going, "PG-13 or R?"), so until I find a better one, I'm switching over to this. I have GOT to stop doing this. Writing fics about series I haven't read/seen, that is. I've done it twice with Full Metal Alchemist, and now... I was talking to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) aguynamedgoo today, and he was ranting about the apparently popular BanxHimiko pairing in Get Backers fandom. Now, I don't know a whole lot about the two of them, but I do know that Ban killed Himiko's brother (for good reason) and hasn't explained to her why. Himiko adored her brother. I would think that would get between the two of them having any sort of relationship, unless it was... Implicit Acceptance (Harry Potter) BETA
I swore I'd never do this. Okay, I never really swore. But I sure as hell never thought I'd do it. I've never written any Harry Potter before, and I thought if I ever did, it'd be some sweet Ron/Hermione or maybe some Trio smut. I thought Draco/Harry to be absolutely the most improbable pairing ever. It's the epitome of "You're anathema to me, you blanket-stealing bastard" pairings. Then my Draco woke up. And he turned out to be with Harry, although certainly not in a warmfuzzy reformed bad guy kind of way. And I wrote, and I think I'll likely write more, stuff with them that is not pr0n. I am crazed; you are crazed; he, she, or it is crazed; we are crazed; they are crazed. skyfalls and livetolove are both crazed, and they handed off their craziness to reunion, who gave it to me. Above all, Rufus Shinra is crazed. And damn it, this was NOT supposed to be a serious multi-chapter fic. But somehow it is. And this is an extremely rough beta that I will probably hate myself for tomorrow, but damn it all, I have two chapters done and I'm going to bed. Tentatively titled "View From the Top," I have the horrible feeling that this is in the same universe as "Too Much of Not Enough."
